Jane Fry, MD Film Finances

Jane Fry is the Managing Director of FFSA whose career in the Film and Television industry spans 34 years. Fry’s financial and business career stemmed from a groundwork of financial education to completion of a MBA degree from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom. Fry has worked on local and international television series and feature films in South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Mauritius and Europe.

Karen Brooks, FixZA

Karen has been in production in South Africa for over thirty years, working her way up from production co-ordinator on her first magazine programme, to become a producer, content producer, series producer and line producer across different genres, both live and on location, for films, dramas, actuality programes, reality shows and corporate videos.  Karen has worked on both local and international projects on locations across of Africa

Mpho Maringa, Media Specialist IDC

After completing her BA in Dramatic Arts at Wits University, Mpho entered the media industry and rose through the ranks ending up as Commissioning Editor at SABC before becoming a producer at Tshediza Media. Mpho also spent 6 years as a classifier at FPB and a content producer before joining the Media unit at the IDC where she has worked on a number of projects

Dimakatso Kgomo, Deputy Director Film & TV Incentives, The DTIC

Christian Tabor-Raeside, Commercial Associate, Legalese

Christian completed his bachelor degree in Communications at Drexel University before completing his LLB at UCT.  An associate at Legalese in Cape Town, Christian specialises in entertainment law including talent agreements, copyright and so much more.
